Orange Julius
Prep time: 10 minutes, serves 5
- 4 oranges, peeled
- 2 cups kefir or yogurt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or 1/2 vanilla bean
- 1/4 cup raw honey
- 2 cups ice
- Place all ingredients in blender and process on high for 45-60 seconds, or until it's smooth. Enjoy immediately (this smoothie does not store well unless poured into popsicles). Pour any leftover smoothie into popsicle molds.

Fabulous recipe. I have a hard time drinking kefir but it is perfect in this tangy drink. My children loved it! Thanks so much for your menu plans each week---they inspire me to make great meals for my family!
ReplyDeleteYou are so welcome! :) I'm glad you enjoy the blog. YOu can definitely use Trader Joe's plain kefir. You can also use any kind of plain yogurt as a substitute in any of the smoothie recipes; cup for cup.
