It's been a tradition around here to give away an album that my husband is apart of when it releases. In keeping with this tradition, I offer you a chance to win a copy of For the Sake of the World DVD/CD set.
It might be a strange giveaway for this kind of blog, but this project and our family are woven together through joy, hard work, sacrifice, and relationship. Versions-in-progress of many of these songs were played over and over again during our nightly family devotions. When an idea would come, everything paused as Jeremy worked out a new detail of the song. The children and I listened to daddy work on this album almost daily for the last year. Our homestead is even captured at the end of the "extras" feature on the DVD. I won't give it all away, but Jeremy has a moment playing matador with Shamrock the ram and Jer may or may not refer to himself as "daddy" to our woolen monster.
This isn't just a nuclear family project, but our friends involved with it are family. Brian and Jenn were the first to bring us a dinner (along with several adorable baby outfits) when Joseph was born. We spent our favorite Fourth of July ever camping out with Leah (BJVs) and her family. When Jeremy was recently away on a two-week trip, William, Graham (percussion), and Graham's sweet sister came over to keep us company and even help clean the house.
We are so thankful for our church family and I am very happy to offer the fruit of our labor to you.
It's like I'm in the room! Very intimate worship, I love how his heart grows and reflects the movement of God!

ReplyDeleteI love the title track- Its one of those songs that has so much passion in it. I find myself singing it all the time. I have been anticipating this album ever since I saw the recording on ibethel.tv.

ReplyDeletePlanning on leading this weekend Jeremy's song from the cd "This Is Amazing Grace". I attended the Bethel Worship School in 2010 and loved hearing Jeremy's heart. Great stuff.

ReplyDeleteIn Your Light is not only my favorite song on the cd but probably my favorite praise song ever. When ever tough times come this song always have a way to pick me up and get my focus on Jesus. Such a blessing!

Every since we saw the filming of this CD on iBethel.tv my favorite (and my 7 year old son too) song is "In Your Light"....we have still sung it together since those many months ago when we first heard it, I even recorded a video of my son singing it 'cause he loves it that much! ReplyDeleteI sampled all of the songs, and i still have to say, 'For The Sake Of The World' is still my favorite. I'm involved with missions at my college, and that song, i think, should be our anthem, for the missions dept. aswell as the whole student body! So powerful!!!!
ReplyDeleteOne of my absolute favorites is the song "Closer". I listened to it on repeat when it was only on Youtube from Bethel Church. So thrilled it was a part of the CD. Also fell in love with the Loft Sessions- every last song. Such an intimate atmosphere to worship while playing them.
