If you have ever been inside a 5th Wheel, you know what my kitchen is like.
You know it is tiny. That's just the way it is.
But inside this tiny kitchen comes many creations.
From fromage blanc
to fried mush.
And there's just enough room for hacking into young coconuts
to make raw, healthy treats.
And of course there is room for sourdough bread to soak
and for kefir and creme fraiche to lacto-ferment.
To top it off, my husband fancied up this tiny kitchen by installing a lovely piece of hardware.
My kitchen might be in a trailer (find out why here), and it might be small, but we make it work, and that's just the way it is.
This is awesome. My husband and I are going to move into a small apartment with our two boys in a month and we will seriously have no counter space. I am worried about my sourdough starter and kefir but this gives me courage to make space.
ReplyDeleteWhile a small apartment is not the same as living in a trailer, I am looking forward to reading more about your year in a trailer because we are doing something similar. We are giving up space and luxury for two years so we can save money to buy some land and a "dream" home. God bless you and your family :)
That's wonderful! You can do it! It's totally worth it. You will probably even come out of this season with really fond, cozy memories. Blessings!
